How long does a foreclosure case take to finish?
There is no one right answer to this question. Every county, judge, bank, and attorney work differently. If you chose not to fight your foreclosure, the bank may be able to foreclose on you within 3 or 4 months. If you choose to fight your foreclosure, the process could take years. This is an added benefit to fighting the foreclosure because the bank can not throw you out unless they win, even if you are not making a mortage payment while we fight the foreclosure for you. So, you may be able to live in your house for years without making a mortgage payment.
